       DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & INCLUSION CONSULTING

All forms of institutional and structural oppression affect inequality. Dr. Swaroop partners with organizations seeking to dismantle their own perpetuation of systemic and structural inequity. Her approach to inclusive excellence dismantles structural, institutional, and historical barriers while generating systems that give all people equitable access to resources and voice to create a culture of belonging.

Dr. Swaroop expertly creates strategies and implements empirically-derived and participatory action initiatives fostering social responsibility for organizations committed to values of respect, equity, and belonging. Leveraging the cultural wealth of an organization is known to increase organizational performance and promote healthy internal culture.

For organizations committed to institutional DEI initiatives, Dr. Swaroop offers:

  • Organizational Cultural Assessments to evaluate and understand an organization's cultural wealth, including its ability to effectively engage with diverse communities and serve diverse communities.

  • Diversity Training and Workshops to educate staff, stakeholders, and leaders about topics ranging from unconscious bias, microaggressions, cultural humility, to inclusive leadership. She crafts sessions that raise awareness, promote understanding, and foster a more inclusive organizational environment.

  • Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) for different affinity groups, such as groups for women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and staff with disabilities. Dr. Swaroop facilitates ERGs to develop an internal forum for networking, mentorship, advocacy, and community-building.

  • Leadership Development and Coaching to help senior leaders and managers become more inclusive leaders. Dr. Swaroop’s programming involves skills training, feedback and coaching, and support in addressing specific DEI challenges within teams.
